[Gluster-users] Self-heal triggering: a final word on howto do it?
Hi to everyone. Here whe can find two methods to trigger self-heal: http://www.gluster.com/community/documentation/index.php/Gluster_3.1:_Triggering_Self-Heal_on_Replicate but in a replica system, when you have copied data to the volume while a peer was offline, I've seen that enetring a "volume rebalance" command, starts a sort of "mirror reconstruction" that leads to the same result. So long, is it possible to say a "final word" on self-heal practices? Is it supposed that whe have to periocally trigger the self-heal process running specific command in crontab? Thank you all Raf

[Gluster-users] Self-heal triggering: a final word on howto do it?
In next couple of weeks I will have a script ready to detect if Self-Healing is required. Currently stuck with some high priority things that I need to address first. Will send the script once it's done.
