freebsd stable - Jul 2014 - rc.conf duplicate dumpdev record

Hi,

I am wondering since 9.0 why is dumpdev="NO" inserted into
/etc/rc.conf
during install in which one doesn't opt for dump partition, even when
the same line already exists in /etc/defaults/rc.conf.

Is there a reason for this?

As documentation that you explicitly said no during the install, presumably?
