Dear all! I'd like to know, prior to install upcoming 6.0, about putting cpu into cooler mo- de. On 5.4 and amd64 2800+ cpu (754, 0.13) with "acpi_ppc", it works fine and temperature is just over 30. Could I do the same with "device cpufreq" and "powerd_enable"? Also, is it possible to tune celeron M processor (1400, says it has "stepping=5") the same way? Best regards Zoran

(if you want to retain the characteristic of the acpi_ppc driver just put: powerd_flags="-r 2" into your rc.conf) -- Markus

Don't care.
