hi all: I just installed FreeBSD 5.3R on Dell PE 2850,and cvsuped the src, build my own SMP kernel(HTT on), then builded the kernel(SCHED_ULE),got this 5.4-STABLE FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE #0 system. After i installed mysql-client-4.0.24_1,and i run /usr/local/bin/mysql_install_db to initialize mysql, it unresponsive! Ctrl+C not worked, #uname -a FreeBSD ibsd.xxx.com 5.4-STABLE FreeBSD 5.4-STABLE #0: Tue Apr 12 10:34:52 CST 2005 root@ibsd.xxx.com:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/DSMP i386 My kernel configfile and /var/run/dmesg.boot were attached. But when i turned off the HTT, /usr/local/bin/mysql_install_db runed successfully. After i had configed the mysql, and turn HTT on again, mysql worked right. -------------- next part -------------- Copyright (c) 1992-2005 The FreeBSD Project.
