[Ferret-talk] How to store Ferret index in DB using acts_as_ferret ?
Hello, I would like Ferret index to be stored in DB ( instead of multiple files ) It would allow me to centralize all datas in a unique media + backup my index using a simple DB export. Is there a way to do so ? Thks -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/.

It''s of little use to backup your Ferret index since it can be rebuilt from the contents of your database. If you need to restore your database from a backup just rebuild your index afterwards.
