Ferret talk - Jan 2006 - different Analyzer defaults

Hi.

While experimenting with the QueryParser to search fields containing
only numbers, I discovered that the default Analyzer for IndexWriter
differs from QueryParser''s (StandardAnalyzer vs. Analyzer).  Is there
a reason for this?
