What repository should I pull from to get the latest snapshot of the
EM java code for jruby?

The svn and git repos [1,2] both contain the Java builds. You will
need to ensure that you have jruby rake in your path ahead of regular
ruby rake in order to run them (due to path usage bugs in rake and
rubygems - upstream issues have been reported to the maintainers).

Essentially, the idea is trivial, ensure you''re using jruby, grab the
repo, and do a `rake`, or `jruby -S rake`, you will see a javac build
go past and a run of the test suite.
