dtrace discuss - Nov 2007 - Distributed and/or multi-vendor DTrace?

I''m wondering about the idea of (say) using Instruments to
run and analyze traces on several machines, some of which
might not even be running Mac OS X?  Any interest in this?

  Project D-Light is working on an architecture that will
be (to some extent) a bit like having a distributed DTrace.
However, the distributed part wouldn''t be exposed too much 
to the command line user. If you want to talk more about
