anyone could tell me when is it scheduled the backporting of dtrace.jar to solaris 10? i wonder if there''s any chance to see it in update 2 or if we should wait for u3 (end of the year?)... This message posted from opensolaris.org

[dtrace-discuss] backporting dtrace.jar on solaris 10
The plan for the DTrace JNI was to first validate the APIs by getting feedback on OpenSolaris.org. Once we feel like those interfaces are sufficiently stable, we''ll back port them to a Solaris 10 update. Regarding which particular update the DTrace JNI -- or any other feature for that matter -- ends up in is hard to say at the moment. There are many many new features and bug fixes targetting the Solaris 10 updates which has created something of a back log. We''re trying to keep DTrace in the updates in step with Solaris Nevada as best we can. The more feedback we get from customers about particular features they''d like to see backported the easier it is for us to make the case to prioritize the backport over other features.
