dovecot - Mar 2017 - change mdbox rotation size?

Hey folks.  Is it possible/advisable to change the mdbox rotation 
size on an operational mdbox spool?  If so, is there any way to 
"repackage" (for the lack of a better term) an existing mdbox spool to
a
different rotation size?
