dovecot - Jan 2015 - Uniqueness of dovecot mailbox-guids

If mailbox guids should be unique systemwide, would it be safe to delete all
'dovecot-uidlist' files of the user's mailboxes and then do a
doveadm force-resync after mailbox migration?
