Uniqueness of dovecot mailbox-guids
Update: seems to me that the old cyrus mailserver already uses these non-unique mailbox guids.
Is it necessary to have them unique over all private namespaces?
Thanks
Christian

Uniqueness of dovecot mailbox-guids
Dovecot version: 2.2.9
I'm using doveadm backup to migrate about hundred user mailboxes from cyrus to dovecot. I defined a master user for the old cyrus mailserver in imapc backend to get access to all the mailboxes. Now I realized that after migration every user's "Inbox" or "Trash" on the new dovecot server has the same mailbox-guid, e.g:
User a:

Hi all,
I'm running two debian machines with dovecot 2.0.9 autobuilds and would like
to keep mails synchronized on both via dsync.
Mails are kept in maildir on both sides.
While syncing, dsync gives the following error:

survey package: weights used in svycoxph()
Dear R-help,
Let me know if I should email r-devel instead of this list. This
message is addressed to Professor Lumley or anyone familiar with the
survey package.
Does svycoxph() implement the method outlined in Binder 1992 as
referenced in the help file? That is, are weights incorporated in the
ratio term (numerator and denominator) of the estimating equation? I
don't believe so since

About Bootstrap
Hi dear R-helpers,
Happy new year. I have estimated Gini index variance in the case of complex survey (stratify and with two stage sampling). I use the survey package. I use replication (bootstrap, and Jacknife) and linearisation according to Binder (1993) article

Samba bind-9.12 Support
Hi,
i wanna ask how is the status of the bind-9.12 Support?
Does this works already?
Because Samba wiki says 9.11
BIND Version Supported in Samba Version
BIND 9.11 Samba 4.5.2 and later
Because i want update my System, but gentoo do not provide bind-9.11
anymore.
The patches in this Post

longer at git.

Uniqueness of dovecot mailbox-guids
Ok, problem solved.
Obviously the GUIDs only have to be unique for a specific user account in dovecot.
Many thanks to Heinlein Support who helped me with this question!

Pattern matching in extensions.conf
Hello fellow * users
Hope this isn't a stupid question; I've done my research but could not find
a proper answer.
I have 8 different destinations which I want to match. The numbers are:
###### 00
###### 20
###### 30
###### 40
###### 15
###### 35
###### 12
###### 44
Right now I've solved it by doing this:
exten => _######[0234]0,1,HangUp
exten => _######[13]5,1,HangUp

string substitution for argument in function
hello,
I want to iterate through a list of names and use each element as an
argument in a function. For instance:
> a = c('one','two','three')
> data= c()
> for(elem in a){data=cbind(elem = 2,data)}
> data
elem elem elem
[1,] 2 2 2
instead I want 'elem' to be substituted by the string in the list. Doing
it by hand would be:
> data =
