dovecot - Apr 2011 - Thunderbird does not notice new mails arrival in imap folders

Hello

Since I've installed Dovecot 2 I've observed that TB does not
notice new mails arrival in IMAP folders.
When I click on a folder new mails count is updated, with
dovecot 1 it was automatic.
I wonder if it is due to the new TB version (lastest stable)
or Dovecot 2 (2.0.11).
I use MBOX format.

I believe this is the default behaviour in Thunderbird 3 and has nothing
to do with Dovecot. To change it so that Thunderbird checks all IMAP
folders for new messages open the config editor and set

mail.check_all_imap_folders_for_new

to "true".
