dovecot - Feb 2011 - passwd userbase and multiple email adresses

Hi..

i want to use a passwd file for user configuration.. but how can i add
emailadresses(multiple) to those users ?
postfix -> dovecot

passwd looks like:
test:{PLAIN}pass

there must be some kind of userdb right ? But i cant find any infos
about that on the wiki

do i have to use the virtual_alias_maps for that ?

test at example.com test
info at example.com test
...
