David, can we get a "Documentation" item in the main menu leading to a new documentation page? I'd like to add a Howto and some other info for end users but none of the 4 main menu pages seem appropriate for that. I didn't see a way to add a menu item through the wiki, so I think you need to do that. Also, have you any thoughts about a new official logo? There's a thread on the forum that has a few designs in addition to the one zootreeves is using on the forum itself. Jeff

Documentation and Use it (Re: [compiz] New top menu item)

There was a proposal for "Use it" earlier, I think these two can be merged into one top-level link as we're talking about end-user documentation. End-users are going to need instructions to know they want to install any plug-ins or extras anyway and to know how. The top-level "Download" page should probably include links to any plug-in page and extras page as well. Anyone, please let me know if this is not a good idea. I see one argument for the title "Use it" is that it's short and an imperative. Then again, it doesn't give a lot of idea on what kind of content to expect there. What about "Learn", is that too boring? "Master it" or whatever the idiomatic English expression is? In any case, you can now go to the "Instructions" page and add a link to your how-to or start a plug-in catalog etc. -- -- Trying to catch me?
