CentOS - Mar 2015 - CPOS-7-Installation-20141120-1 install problem

Hi

 

I install the CPOS-7-Installation-20141120-1.ISO on the AIX power 720

(CentOS power PC version for the AIX power serices)

Then I saw a message below

 

Please wait, loading kernel.

:0,/vmlinux: Unable to open file, Invalid device

Boot:

 

How can I boot it up? Please give me an advice .

You seem to be in a grub shell. Try typing
root (hd<tab>

and see what it gives you.

Oh, another alternative is to boot off the installer to linux rescue, and
see what the root device is named.... Who knows, maybe it's p0c00, or some
such, instead of /dev/sdax

I tried to type some command below. Could you tell me what I exact type
after boot:        ?
(I am not an expert of Linux but, I would like to fix this issue)

That's "interesting" , as we have no PPC/PP64 CentOS 7
installation
DVD ...
So not sure what you're talking about here. Do you mind elaborating ?
