CentOS - Jul 2014 - centos iso to rfs_image

Dear all,


1.    Is it possible to convert centos iso file to vmlinuz, initrd and
rfs_raw.img.

2.    Can I use only vmlinux, initrd and rfs_raw.img to install via pxeboot.

Please share your information regarding this.

Perhaps you should speak to either co-workers or your instructors, and
learn the difference and contents of an .iso vs vminuz, etc. At the least,
you need to read a book about linux.

Loop mount the ISO, and locate the files you want.

OR:
On your preferred mirror, under
<centos_version>/os/<architecture>/images/pxeboot/, you'll find
the files
you want.
That doesn't mean you can't get the files from an ISO, but why do that
when
you can retrieve just what you need?
