There are 6 other kernels in 6.1 that are newer (and have more security
updates) than 2.6.32-71.29.1.el6.x86_64. You might try
kernel-2.6.32-131.2.1.el6.x86_64.rpm and if it works, work your way up
to the kernel that fails.
I do not specifically see an x3850 issue with 6.2 listed in the RH bugzilla.
