I'm most likely going to make the hop from FC to CentOS in the
next several months, and wonder whether I should wait for CentOS 5.

It has inherited the same bugs which annoy me that introduced into FC6. Since CentOS 5 is based on FC6, it will probably be the last one to separate HDA and SDA. (Blasted M$ spell checker keeps changing HDA to HAD on my behalf). Bob S
