CentOS - Jan 2006 - High Loads

Hi

Got a box that acts as a web/db server - recently i have started to see 
odd timeout errors between the app and webserver on this box - Can't see 
anything obvious and as far as i'm aware nothing has changed

any ideas?

I'd guess at a memory leak in the java application -- restart tomcat and
see if that helps. If it does you might need to set up a cron job to
restart tomcat as a way of stopping the memory usage getting out of
hand...
