CentOS virt - Feb 2015 - libguestfs-tools not working

You may be better off with the RHEL / CentOS 7.1 libguestfs packages
which are available as a preview.  This is a substantial rebase with
many more features and somewhat faster too.  Follow the instructions here:

Thanks for the offer, but (a) a reboot got it working, and (b) to get
that into CentOS 6 I would have to rebuild from source. The dependency
chain would essentially require me to upgrade to CentOS 7, and I have
no intention of doing that.
