Dear Patrice, I have noticed that you are referencing to the Stahnma repository for Spacewalk Client Tools. These are quite old and I would suggest to use the tools from: http://spacewalk.redhat.com/yum instead. Mr. Suchy already pushed some of the packages to Fedora/EPEL so they might be available there, soon. Besides that the Spacewalk Team is thinking about a split between client/server on their own repos. Best Regards Marcus

Dear Patrice.> I updated to howto to avoid the use of the Stahnma repository. However, > the rhel-instnum package is not availablie in EPEL or the Spacewalk > official repository. Is this package still required in Spacewalk version > 0.6?Yes, you are still in need of rhel-instnum on a CentOS box. Please take a look at the following comment from stahnma (in a totally different context, but the last sentence is relevant): http://www.redhat.com/archives/spacewalk-list/2009-October/msg00158.html Best Regards Marcus

The Spacewalk server seems to work correctly even if this package is not present. Do you know what should break once the rhel-instnum package is removed? Maybe this question should be asked directly to the spacewalk list? Regards, -- Patrice
