I'm not completely sure what you're trying to accomplish in this
article. A little more text and a little less pictures would be great -
and maybe a description of what didn't work and what you did exactly to
get it to work.

And: You normally do not need the complete sources to build a driver,
installing kernel-devel should be sufficient.

But yes, I'd like to have that guide on the wiki if you can put some
more text to it :)

Exactly my thoughts, use text as the primary medium, and make sure that
the instructions can be followed without X11 set up.

This would be a nice addition to 'HardwareList' I guess :).
