[asterisk-users] Call Termination Provider Madness
If this is the wrong place to post this I'm sure someone will let me know. :-) I'm looking for a reliable, inexpensive call termination service (SIP). The one I am presently with does not seem to know what IPs they send inbound calls from, and it is maddening to keep up with the FW changes necessary, not to mention the calls which are not connected. Kind regards, Chris

Also if you're constantly chasing IPs for RTP, you are the one doing it wrong. Is it SIP or RTP that's the problem in the firewall? -- Carlos Alvarez TelEvolve 602-889-3003 -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... It is also UDP traffic so the inbound stream could be destined for port 10000 and the outbound could be coming from port 10000. So still 100 simultanious calls. 10000 ------> XXX (outbound) 10000 <----- XXX (inbound) for one call. Michel. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... A very high level overview is here: http://answers.oreilly.com/topic/2705-asterisk-how-to-use-followme-to-call-a-series-of-phone-numbers/ (though that gave me enough to get started) Thank you, Noah Engelberth MetaLINK Technologies

I tried using FollowMe as it seemed like the perfect solution, however I was unable to play the sound file then connect the caller. I would like to bypass the need to press the 1 to accept the call. Thanks Again!
