asterisk users - Aug 2008 - Anything to convert from JSON into Asterisk dialplan variables?

Is there anything already out there that can efficiently convert a  
JSON string into Asterisk dialplan variables?

Our current backend speaks JSON and we need to parse the response to  
construct the dialstring.

A simple Perl (or, God forbid, PHP) AGI script using the CPAN JSON 
parser module would suffice.
