[asterisk-users] Turn off MusicOnHold for individual User
Hi All, I might of got my wires crossed here, but I'm looking for a way to disable musiconhold for individual users. I had thought that putting the sip.conf entry to: [690] type=friend context=from-sip secret=***** qualify=yes host=dynamic canreinvite=no nat=yes mailbox=2090 callerid=2090 musiconhold=silent and then putting an entry in musiconhold.conf like: [silent] mode=files directory=/var/lib/asterisk/mohmp3-empty ;(no files in this dir) I thought this would do it.. but testing shows it still uses the "default" class. I know I could use SetMusicOnHold and in extensions.conf, but that would require a special dialplan prefix or something, so hoped the sip.conf would work. Obviously I've missed something, but what?
