[Asterisk-Users] Comedian Mail not deleting .txt file
I have had two users on two separate systems indicate that they could "not hear a new message" When I investigate I find that the user has marked a message for deletion. The .WAV .wav and gsm files are gone but the .txt file remains thus giving asterisk and the user the impression that a new message exists when it does not. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a fix? Regards, Edward
I too have seen this happen on two occassions. Said there was a 93 second message (when I logged into the web interface).. commedian mail said there was a message, but there was nothing. 1.2.7 On 6/15/06, Edward de Zeeuw <edward.dezeeuw@landlordit.com> wrote:> I have had two users on two separate systems indicate that they could > "not hear a new message" > > When I investigate I find that the user has marked a message for > deletion. Hi, Just a little question about agents and queues, I created different types of queues and I log agents using the manager api ( agentcallbacklogin ) with a context depending on the queue they are logged. 1) Is there a way to get the agent id asterisk is calling in the context I specified using agentcallbacklogin ? 2) How can I know in this context the UNIQUEID of the caller ? as I need to tell to the agents some vars about the client they are answering... Thanks in advance for your help !

Is there a fix? >According to the changelog, it's been fixed in 1.2.9 and above. I had the same thing happening and the newer release has fixed the problem. It only happens if you allow the caller to review their message so if you don't want to upgrade right away you can disable the message review option. 1.2.9 also has a message resequencing fix that caused problems when messages were deleted. So far 1.2.9 voicemail seems quite stable for me.
