asterisk users - Feb 2006 - Keep getting message in logs that pbx.c cannot find extension context 'default'

Hi,

I am getting repeated messages in my logs with the following:

I do not have a default context used in my extensions.conf - I use other 
names. Am I required to have a context named 'default'??

do you have a defaultcontext=something parameter in sip.conf [general]
section?? If not, the default is... em  "default"

Hi Chuck!

In sip.conf you have defined context=default in general or some of
user/peer/friend section. So, Asterisk tries to send call to default context
which you don't have in extensions.conf.

You can
1. in sip.conf change from context=default to some other context that exist in
extensions.conf or
2. create default context in extensions.conf

Hi,

if yo are looking a way to interconnect Asterisk with
a HiPath 4000 via IP, so you have 2 ways to do it.

- via oh323 (for HiPath 4000 version 1 and 2)
- since HiPath4000 version 3 you are able to
interconnect using sipQ (SIP Trunking)
