[Asterisk-Users] re: realtime caller id extensions matching
answered my own question from: pbx_realtime.c "The realtime table currently does not support callerid fields."
We are setting up a test bed and I am curious to know what type of IP phones you guys recommend, Cisco? We are going to be setting up a local asterisk box and a remote asterisk box. Thanks -j
There are many variables that will determine what phone is best for your installation. Each phone has its pros and cons, so its best to choose for your self. I find the Polycoms to work the best. The IP300 are nice but the IP500 is more acceptable due to the better LCD display (as well as other features). When you say local asterisk box and a remote asterisk box, are you referring to having NAT in between the two boxes in any way? I am just curious if you are and how it may work.
