Hey all again, I have successfully compiled and am running Asterisk (stable release) on OS X (10.3). However, any make directive that uses the "-shared" option in gcc results in an error. Apple states that -shared is not supported under OS X. Is there a workaround or do I have just have to live life without those modules (zaptel, libpri, format_mp3, probably others)? Thanks, Zach

If you want conferences thou, u might need ztdummy or that USB equiv. As far as format_mp3, I don't use it and I am still able to play MP3 files with MOH. -Matthew
Greetings All, I am looking for input on what an SS7 interface to Asterisk should look like and what it will need to be of any use. If you don't want to help then don't whine and complain about how you don't need SS7. All comments made in jest are welcome; points will be awarded for cheekiness and good puns. The code won't be written for a while because the design must predate the coding. But please let me know if you would like it done a certain way or need a certain feature.
