I can't tell you why it's failing, as I don't know. But to answer your other question, I have firmware 1.0.5.22 that I found from a link a short time ago on the mailing list. I'm having some issues with DHCP and the BudgeTone phone, as it doesn't seem to like the TFTP options we put in. (I do have the Aastra 480i working properly now though). -- Dana ----- Original Message ----- From: "dean collins" <dean@collins.net.pr> To: "Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion" <asterisk-users@lists.digium.com> Sent: Tuesday, January 25, 2005 6:28 PM Subject: [Asterisk-Users] grandstream budgetone-100 updates I'm using tftp server that automatically loads on each reboot, for some reason the last 2 files fail to load each time. There was a field that allowed me to select automatic updates and how often. I selected yes and set it to 1 day. I set it to yes and set the http address to http://fm.grandstream.com/gs/ I then powered down the phone and powered it back up. This caused the firmware to upgrade. I then logged into it via the web interface and checked the firmware version on the "basic" tab. It was then at x.22. I saw "was" in the above statements because the user interface was different on the x.18 firmware and I am recalling from memory. -- Kim Lux, Diesel Research Inc.

Nope the files are there. Extracted the entire zip file into the same folder. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Stephen R. > Can anyone tell me why these fail each time?I can, but I won't since this is a FAQ - google it!> Also what is the latest revision?goto www.grandstream.com See, this is exactly what I'm talking about. How churlish. Why did he even reply? I have a BT100 sitting on my desk, and it took me all of 10 seconds to find out what the rev was. Dean: Latest published firmware is 1.0.5.16. Dunno about TFTP problems, though. Maybe bad checksum? Try to re-extract from a new copy.
This freaking google/wiki replies has really gone too freaking far......if you don't want to help don't!!!!!!!!!! I don't know the problem or how to find it, the wikki doesn't have information on why the too last files wont upload. As for going to grandstream for the latest - they are still only offering 1.0.5.16 I'm already using 1.0.5.22 though I've seen a posting that 1.0.5.23 is already available though I cant find anywhere to download it. I look forward to meaningful replies.
