[Asterisk-Users] Has anyone connected to 7960 with console cablefor setup?
The 'console' port or RS232 port is used to connect the 7914 sidecar, which does not work with the SIP firmware. It worked just fine for me out of > the box.The 7960 does have a serial console port but I've never attempted to use it, so not a clue what it expects to see. Most Cisco hardware console ports default to 9600 no parity, 1 stop bit, no hardware flow control.
