Redhat 9 is running 100% cpu usage. I had a couple boxes doing this. upgraded to Fedora and its ok.
That was a common problem in some cases. It depended on apps, hardware and software. A quick FYI: I do not suggest that you use SELinux installed and operating when running Asterisk. HI, 1. Make sure you are running asterisk with the command asterisk With no arguments. 2. Make sure you are booting to run level 3 so that X-windows isn't running.
