[Asterisk-Users] [Asterisk-User] recommendation for IP phones
Can any one recommend IP phones that work the best with asterisk and dont cause a major dent in your finances? I shall be using them for normal office functions nothing out of the ordinary.

Polycom phones are nice and are about half the cost of Cisco phone. -----Original Message----- From: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com [mailto:asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com] On Behalf Of Kavit Munshi Sent: Thursday, November 18, 2004 9:10 PM To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion Subject: [Asterisk-Users] [Asterisk-User] recommendation for IP phones Can any one recommend IP phones that work the best with asterisk and dont cause a major dent in your finances? [Asterisk-Users] [Asterisk-User] recommendation for IP phones
the sipura 2000, it has 2 ports, it is below $100, and it can be used with any analog phone. works great with asterisk. The only bad thing about sipura is that it does not support the iLBC codec which is a great codec. >From: Kavit Munshi <kavit@xolinc.com> >Reply-To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion <asterisk-users@lists.digium.com> >To: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion <asterisk-users@lists.digium.com> >Subject: [Asterisk-Users] [Asterisk-User] recommendation for IP phones >Date: Fri, 19 Nov 2004 14:09:54 +1100 >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Received: from mc9-f7.hotmail.com ([65.54.166.14]) by mc9-s5.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.6824); Thu, 18 Nov 2004 19:09:11 -0800 >Received: from lists.digium.com ([69.16.138.164]) by mc9-f7.hotmail.com with Microsoft SMTPSVC(5.0.2195.6824); Thu, 18 Nov 2004 19:08:24 -0800 >Received: from [69.16.138.164] (localhost [127.0.0.1])by lists.digium.com (Postfix) with ESMTPid 54C712FF58D; Thu, 18 Nov 2004 21:06:39 -0600 (CST) >Received: from psmtp.com (exprod5mx127.postini.com [64.18.0.41])by lists.digium.com (Postfix) with SMTP id CA22E2FDA00for <asterisk-users@lists.digium.com>;Thu, 18 Nov 2004 21:06:36 -0600 (CST) >Received: from source ([66.98.146.38]) by exprod5mx127.postini.com([64.18.4.10]) with SMTP; Thu, 18 Nov 2004 22:06:45 EST >Received: from [10.0.0.1] (CPE-138-130-88-176.nsw.bigpond.net.au[138.130.88.176]) (authenticated bits=0)by ensim.smartydns35.com (8.12.11/8.12.11) with ESMTP id iAJ36hdG021111for <asterisk-users@lists.digium.com>; Fri, 19 Nov 2004 14:06:44 +1100 >X-Message-Info: tyddfols8vGf+kmCrQOHLiCMywIZ/BlV3H6Y3iup1II>X-Original-To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com >Delivered-To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com >User-Agent: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.9 (X11/20041103) >X-Accept-Language: en-us, en >X-pstn-levels: (S:40.75540/99.90000 ) >X-pstn-settings: 1 (0.1500:0.1500) gt3 gt2 gt1 >X-pstn-addresses: from <kavit@xolinc.com> [65/3] >X-BeenThere: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com >X-Mailman-Version: 2.1.5 >Precedence: list >List-Id: Asterisk Users Mailing List - Non-Commercial Discussion<asterisk-users.lists.digium.com> >List-Unsubscribe: <http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users>,<mailto:asterisk-users-request@lists.digium.com?subject=unsubscribe> >List-Archive: <http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users> >List-Post: <mailto:asterisk-users@lists.digium.com> >List-Help: <mailto:asterisk-users-request@lists.digium.com?subject=help> >List-Subscribe: <http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users>,<mailto:asterisk-users-request@lists.digium.com?subject=subscribe> >Errors-To: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com >Return-Path: asterisk-users-bounces@lists.digium.com >X-OriginalArrivalTime: 19 Nov 2004 03:08:24.0717 (UTC) FILETIME=[08822BD0:01C4CDE5] > >Can any one recommend IP phones that work the best with asterisk and >dont cause a major dent in your finances?
