asterisk users - Sep 2004 - i4l "1 second patch", anyone got it?

I have been trying to locate the patch that is supposed to cure the  
problem of hearing sound from the previous call when dialing through i4l  
and an hfc card. Does anyone have it? It is mentioned briefly in this post:

I'm seeing this too....
Debian Sarge running kernel 2.4.26
Asterisk version CVS-HEAD-09/23/04
and a Billion HFC-S card with i4l as opposed to CAPI or zaphfc.
Any ideas what's going on?
