The error was in the Quotes and Date Variable.... The end result looks as follows... $Date = time(); $Path = "/usr/local/apache/htdocs/demo/sound/$EmpNum.$Date"; $ShortPath = "sound/$EmpNum.$Date"; $AGI->exec('Record', "$Path:wav"); I needed the $ShortPath variable for some web values... But besides that.... This is what did it for me....
