Hello Everyone, What kind of hardware setup would I need to do if I want a T1 connection to PSTN and have 48 users in office with analog phones. Will something work if I have a T410P card in asterisk and have one T1 going to PSTN and other two to a channel bank. I would then connect the 48 phones (FXS) to the channel bank! Thanks. Deepak

The TE410P will give you four T1's (or E1's, or a mix of both), and hanging two channel banks off of it would work nicely. How you get the T1 in from the telco is fairly flexible... Asterisk will speak most things. I'm partial to PRI, myself, but have E&M running around here too. -rt -- Ryan Tucker Network Engineer NetAccess, Inc. 1159 Pittsford-Victor Road Bldg. 5, Suite 140 Pittsford, New York 14534 585-419-8200 www.netacc.net
Hi everybody, I am new to telephone equipment and *, and i am wondering how "channel banks" are named in germany. (And where they could be bought.) It seems to me, after some research, that these things are quite common goods and i can?t imagine that they are not availlable in Western Europe. So i guess it is a matter of naming conventions. Has someone an idea? Thank you in advance, Thomas Wienecke
