Hello all, Can I execute linux command like(ls, mkdir) through the Manager interface? I can't seem to access the manual at digium.com. I keep getting 'Forbidden' error. Looks like they are upgrading or something. CF
Hello mate, I tried that, i get No such command 'System(ls)'. I can't even make it work on CLI. I am able to execute linux command (via CLI) by prefix command with a "!". >What is the best Asterisk manager to use, i do not mind web based or GUI.AMP http://amp.voxbox.ca Although the best Asterisk GUI is only a fraction of the power of the whole thing. If you want a little, "regular" PBX, AMP is just the trick. If you want to do anything fancy, all of the GUI's fall on their face (like AMP, by design) You are well advised to crack the books on extensions.conf, there really is no replacment. And it actually isn't that hard once you get used to it. I'm speaking as a guy that does GUI for a living. You can do magic in 1 or 2 lines in extensions.conf that is *many many* clicky-clicky's in a GUI. HTH
