Hello All, Is it possible to monitor and record a SIP to SIP call? If so, how? I gathered from some previous posts this would not be possible. -- Thanks, Tim

Not from Asterisk, since it doesn't stand in the path of the RTP data. You would need to force Asterisk to be in the audio stream in order to record the channel, which certainly can be done, but it changes the design of your VoIP system and your IP network. JT

If so, how?You may be able to do this using the "playSIP" tool: <http://www.live.com/playSIP/> I.e., you can use this tool to call the "sip:" URL for an existing call (to invite yourself into the call as a third party).
