[Asterisk-Users] zaptel.conf and zapata.conf for Carrier Access
Has anyone created a conf file for the Carrier Access Accessbank 1? If so, may I take a look at it, because I am trying to get the accessbank up and running soon! Thanks, Kim C. Callis

Knowing there are at least 3 different types of cards for the AB1, and the fact that you can mix and match them and place them in any order means that making a config file is not universal. -- Steven Critchfield <critch@basesys.com>

Well, I know that there is one 12-port FXS and one 12-port FXO card installed... Does that help any or is there something more specific I need to dig up... You still need to know if the AB1 is set to AMI or B8ZS, ESF or D4, also which order those 2 cards are in. So as you can see there is still 3 bits of binary options left leaving you 8 possibilities. Good chance it is B8ZS and ESF, but it is a coin toss as to which spot the FXO/FXS cards are in without seeing it. Of course now you should be able to read the sample configs, and experiment till it works. On Tue, 2003-04-29 at 22:16, Kim C.
