Hi, I have a development * box setup with an X100P.. I only have 1 phone line so my Modem is on this line as well.. Looks like this: PSTN => Modem(Line In)--Modem(Line Out) => X100P(Line In) The problem is that the X100P seems to interact with the line from time to time even when there is no activity on the * box. This causes the the internet stops working.. So to use the Internet I have to disconnect the * box and then I always forget to reconnect it which means that no one can call me.. Is there any way to suppress whatever the X100P is doing so that it only tries to pick up the line when a call needs to be made?? Disconnecting and reconnecting the phone line would be easier than that and I would probably forget to reload it just like I forget to reconnect the phone line.. :) I was hoping that there would be a setting that would do the trick..> have you tried rmmod the wcfxo module when not using the x100p? > > - wasim > > On Fri, 28 Mar 2003, WipeOut . wrote: > > > Hi, > > > > I have a development * box setup with an X100P.. I realize this doesn't exactly answer your question, but you could try a $10 ish line isolator from Radio Shack that would cut the line off when the modem is off hook... even if you did try to place a call through Asterisk it would follow the "every one is busy" route in your extension logic rather than cutting into your modem connection/conversation. Just a though. Brad On Fri, 28 Mar 2003, WipeOut . wrote:> Hi, > > I have a development * box setup with an X100P..
