There is a ``family'' argument to the postcript device driver.
You can choose "AvantGarde", "Bookman", "Courier",
"Helvetica",
"Helvetica-Narrow", "NewCenturySchoolbook",
"Palatino" or "Times".
Of course, sans-serif fonts are less distracting to the eye ...
