xen discuss - Jun 2008 - Question about OpenSolaris Xen source location

I tried downloading various of the OpenSolaris source
consolidations, like ON and SFW, looking for, specifically,
the sources to virt-install.  I later found the bits I was
looking for in Python out in /usr/lib/python2.4/vendor-packages,
but I''m still curious: where do the user-level and kernel-level
Xen bits live in the source distribution?  There''s something going
on here that I don''t understand.

xvm-src.tar.bz contains a mercurial repository;
but it cannot be used to update the xVM sources
to a newer build (AFAIK).

An xVM version for xen-3.3 unstable is available as
a mercurial repository;  this pulls standard xen sources
from http://xenbits.xensource.com/xen-unstable.hg
and the patches that add OpenSolaris support from
ssh://anon@hg.opensolaris.org/hg/xen-gate/devel-unstable-patches
