Hey, Has anyone seen the following behavior: I''m running the latest unstable snapshot with a linux hvm guest configured with usbdevice = ''tablet'' for correct mouse tracking over vnc. Everything works fine, until I use any application that touches the network (including a simple ping), and the entire guest freezes up and becomes unusable. This behavior happens for usbdevice = ''mouse'' as well, and occurs on all my Ubuntu6.06-desktop, fedora4, fedora5, and knoppix hvm guests. Any ideas? Is USB support on linux guests broken? Thanks! ~Dave _______________________________________________ Xen-devel mailing list Xen-devel@lists.xensource.com http://lists.xensource.com/xen-devel
Have you tried it with USB disabled, using only a PS/2 mouse? -George On 9/21/06, David Richardson <daverich04@yahoo.com> wrote:> Hey, > > Has anyone seen the following behavior: I''m running the latest unstable > snapshot with a linux hvm guest configured with usbdevice = ''tablet'' for > correct mouse tracking over vnc. Yup. That works just fine. Of course, I''d like the usb tablet support since the mouse is unusable over VNC otherwise... ~Dave --- George Dunlap <dunlapg@umich.edu> wrote:> Have you tried it with USB disabled, using only a > PS/2 mouse? > -George > > On 9/21/06, David Richardson <daverich04@yahoo.com> > wrote: > > Hey, > > > > Has anyone seen the following behavior: I''m > running the latest unstable > > snapshot with a linux hvm guest configured with > usbdevice = ''tablet'' for > > correct mouse tracking over vnc.
