Xen users - Feb 2011 - Error: Domain is not halted. Help ASAP appreciated.

Can anyone help me with this error? I have a server that was down for
some reason. It came back up but I cannot restart the domU. When I try
an xm start it says it''s already running. 

If I try to delete it, I get the following error:
Error: Domain is not halted.
Usage: xm delete <DomainName>

Remove a domain from Xend domain management.

If I look at virt-manager this domain is not even listed.

If I do xenstore-ls I don''t see the domain listed either. 

If I ps -ewf | grep xend I do not find any processes for this domain. 

xm list shows the domain with no ID associated to it. 

I''ve tried restarting the server without success. Any idea how to get
out of this?

One more thing. I did an xm create and it does create and bring up the
domain, but if I shut it down and try to remove it, it still thinks
it''s
there and I''m back in the same boat.

Yeah tried that. xend has to be running or you get:
Error: Unable to connect to xend: Connection refused. Is xend running?

I also tried stopped xend and removing the xenstored database so it
creates a new one. (/var/lib/xenstored/tdb)

Same problem. 

Anyone know where xm list gets it''s list?

Currently the vm is running and shows up in virt-manager. If I stop the
VM, it''s no longer listed in virt-manager, or xenstore, but xm list
still shows it (with no ID)
