I don''t wanna waste a lot of time to try different distro any more.., These days I tried ubuntu10.04 fedora13,centos5.5,etc.to compile the latest xen4.0.1 and dom0 kernel from jermy''s repository. All of these platforms can''t work perfectly. Since only debian squeeze has a precompiled package, I guess xen hypervisor developers are using debian squeeze. If so, I may exchange my platform to debian squeeze to save my time to get things and new features/Apis work. Re: [Xen-users] Which Linux distro is used by xen developers?
I would suggest debian is a good distribution for any new app you are trying out since most of the (i guess) developers i suppose use debian and debian has a good support group too. Kidding aside, I''ve used Debian exclusively for more years than I care to remember. There''s been a rocky road with the xen packages but if you compile your own binaries you should be fine.
