Using slackware64 13.1 as a starting point I''m playing with XEN. I''ve been making decent progress and learning a lot along the way. last night I kicked off a windows XP SP2 install. I''ve been using KDE''s VNC client whcih occasionaly crashed and does other stupid stuff. I''m wondering what others are using for a VNC client with xen. My second questions is where do I configure the VNC client program name? You need to point to the right port or display of course. In windows you have vncviewer.exe which is to be found in tightvnc (if I''m not mistaking). Aye, any client should work. But as a specific example: Where I have config set as: vfb = [''type=vnc, vncdisplay=10, vncpasswd=XXXXXXXX''] I use Vinagre 2.30.2 which comes installed in Gnome. And as a bookmark the option to connect is: hostname.example.com::5910 Where as noted, the ''vncdisplay'' is 10 in the config so the port is 5900 +10. Some configs ask for ''display number'' i believe, in which case mine is ''10''. I''m using xnvcviwer. I belive, no configuration requied for server and client (client still needs ip/port for vnc-server).
