Hi Laurent, Does Opensuse use a pv_ops domO kernel? If so remus doesn''t work with this yet. Ah - Excellent! Time to get the newest version of XEN then. To the original poster - You need Xen 4.0 or higher for remus. Suse xenified kernel IS NOT pvops. It''s forward porting xen patches technique. Like they the did 2.6.27 for 11.1 , 2.6.32.8 for 11.2, 2.6.34.1 for 11.3. No idea about REMUS . It depends on does it depend completely on Xen Hypervisor or requires also some pvops kernel features. Re: [Xen-users] remus support in Opensuse ?
In one of the builds for opensuse the remus command was included. I even did some tests with it. But in in later builds for opensuse it disappeared. I guess we have to find the person who makes the builds at the opensuse repository and ask him this question. mfg, Jeroen Op 2-8-2010 19:29, Laurent HENRY (EHESS/CRI) schreef:> I think this is what i have > > xen-libs-4.0.0_21091_05-6.6.x86_64 > xen-4.0.0_21091_05-6.6.x86_64 > xen-tools-4.0.0_21091_05-6.6.x86_64 > xen-kmp-desktop-4.0.0_21091_05_k2.6.34.0_12-6.6.x86_64 > kernel-xen-2.6.34-12.3.x86_64 > > By the way, i don''t have any remus command in my paths or anywhere else: > # locate remus > # > > > > Le Lun 2 août 2010 18:17, Boris Derzhavets a écrit : >>> Does Opensuse use a pv_ops domO kernel? >> NO. >> >> --- On Mon, 8/2/10, Mark Adams<mark@campbell-lange.net> wrote: >> >> From: Mark Adams<mark@campbell-lange.net> >> Subject: Re: [Xen-users] remus support in Opensuse ? >> To: "??ukasz Ole??"<lukaszoles@gmail.com> >> Cc: xen-users@lists.xensource.com >> Date: Monday, August 2, 2010, 12:08 PM >> >> Ah - Excellent!
