Xen users - Jun 2005 - USB HD and Xen

I am currently planning to consolidate some of my home machines using Xen. The
box they are going to live on uses a USB2 HD for backups. Having lurked a bit I
have seen people having trouble with USB (and lots people using nousb boot
options).

My question is: is it likely the external drive will give me hassle? Is anyone
else using one with Xen?

I think there are specific machine models where the USB stack needs 
disabling, although exactly why is a mystery. AFAIK it works OK on most 
machines.
