rspec users - Mar 2009 - what is the context?

describe MovieList do
  context "when first created" do
    it "should be empty" do
      movie_list = MovieList.new
      movie_list.should be_empty

what is the context work for?

context() is an alias of describe(). They do the same thing, but they
read differently in your spec.
